Challenge #1

Ok so here is the first challenge of the Gypsy Chirps Website.

This is a two parter yall..

First Go through all of your cartridges and make sure ALL of them are registered at cricut.com. This is good thing to do. I am guilty of not getting all of mine registered.

Second of the cartridges you have how many have you not cut a single item from? That many eh...had to have it and didn't ever use it.

The challenge is to goto the front of the book and follow long with the getting started project and create something from a cartridge you have not used before. Then post your project back here.

I will draw a name at the end of each month for a prize....but you gotta participate to be entered.
Each time you reply to a posting or complete a challenge post you will be entered into the drawing.
On the 15th of each month I will reveal what the giveaway is.

You have until the last day of each month to complete all challenges you want to enter and have the link posted back to this site.

Here is the first of many videos to come. I will be uploading more this evening. I had the batteries in my camera die and cant get to the office to get new once til hubby comes home...

I wanted to start slow and easy sometimes we do have difficulties with the simplest things and want to make sure when a problem happens you know how to fix it before thinking your gypsy is broken.

As you saw the in the video the cartridge took several times before it wanted to collect all the data and finish uploading to the gypsy that does not happen every time but when it does you now know what to do about it.

OK yall off to create.

If you have any questions on how to do something on the gypsy let me know I will do a video showing you how to do that specific thing or how to fix that problem.

Ustream this weekend

I am thinking about doing a ustream this weekend. We are snowed in we live at bottom of hill so its really iced in.....

I am still working on my advent box for the ustream. This is such a cool box. This little creation would be a perfect item for children to make. Moms and dads cut otu the pieces and then let the kids draw on them how ever they want and then assemble and you have a cute unique  creation.

Advent Box

I have been working on my advent boxes. The power went out during my ustream last night. That was not a fun night. And just a TIP: Don't forget to make sure all your lights, electronics that make noise, space heaters are off before you goto bed when the power is off. Why am I giving you this tip well because when they do come on and you are sleeping and then it lights, electrionics, heaters, it kind of wakes you from a warm toasty bed you worked hard at creating when the pwer was out.

I am going to finish my advent boxes today and get ready for another ustream this week.

I made this cute box today over on ustream I just wanted to share this with everyone. This one is already claimed. I know the person who recieves it will like it. Well I think she will.

Ok so rembmer Dec 1st I will start doing my tutorials on the gypsy.
